Four people are in custody after an alleged armed robbery that took place Thursday, but one local family says that a woman was traumatized after police mistook her for one of the offenders.
Lake Havasu City Police officers were called at about 6:30 a.m. to Studio Six Suites, on the Island, after receiving reports of a victim who had been robbed at gunpoint. According to police, the reporting party said he was robbed by three men and a woman. The suspects reportedly fled the area in a vehicle with one flat tire, after taking several personal items from the victim.

How about the parents that actually complied with the orders to not go into the school and try to save THEIR kids? Let the UVALDE HEROES take care of it. [beam][beam]
Your Welcome
Joe, you ignorant FuC this young lady not only didn’t pay for all the items she was checking out but was also described and fit the description of the individual involved in the armed robbery!
Stop the ignorance and simply allow the officers do their job’s!
Joe Joseph
I was stopped for a motel robbery late one night going to work graveyard shift because I fit the description. Of course my ID clearly states, "Motel Robber". Work accused me of being late for over-sleeping since it was a small town and it didn't happen and my Supervisor knew the chief. I also visited a few motels and there was NO robbery - if one place got hit, ALL the motels would know about it. If my personal experience with LHC cops and the ex wife happened in this day and age of recording cops and social media and being able to afford a lawyer. At least it keeps me off jury duty.
BTW - I think we're BOTH wrong, if we're going by a report from ONLY from one side.

Unfortunately the issues with Muse seemed to have overshadowed the armed robbery by the four criminals alleged initially. The violent felonies have been increasing here as they are around the nation. Havasu is no oasis of safety and security. Our LEO’s need the full support of the community to offer us the best mitigation from drugs, gangs and vagrants that are increasingly invading our city. Given the huge Statewide influx of “immigrant” invaders with foreign connections to crime and yes, even terrorism, our risks here are real.

I always laugh when our tough talking 2A boys with the come and take it / pry it from my cold dead hands are afraid of a takeover. GO DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, PATRIOT. Or, just wait for someone else to fight your battles. The real Patrick Henrys aren't our drunken loud mouths.

If Dad didn’t teach her to obey officers of the law, and she’s so “impaired” by her ADHD, he is liable. However pure ADHD does not cause one to act the way she is described as acting. Perhaps there are earlier traumas or guided perceptions she had experienced in the past. But neither ADHD nor its medications should be considered an excuse for failure to comply.
Though no bruising was described by LEO’s, it should be noted that some medications used to handle behavioral issues in ADHD can cause easy bruising.

You'll be silent when the BWC is released. "Obey" officers when they give unlawful orders? BTW - Our SCOTUS has repeatedly said when LAWFULLY detained with RAS, STFU as much as possible, just like when a cop gives a deposition. Guess what the cops that are involved in fatal shootings do not do without their lawyer present?
Let's discuss the 2A and who cops decide need to be ID'd and ran for warrants while legally carrying?
Bob Lablaw
You whine a lot! Consider this: If you follow what you feel are unlawful orders, especially while armed, you won't end up beaten and bloody. At the end of the entire thing, you sue and win millions, without having been injured. Cops usually are in the right, but when they are not, courts are happy to pay huge amounts of damages to the victim. Try to act like a grown up, and not a jailhouse lawyer, and see how much eaiser your life can be.
Joe Joseph
Oh no, our cops aren't like other cops. Please, just pay the lady with taxpayer dollars.
Bob Lablaw
Why would we pay for that? There were no injuries, and the officers were clearly within the law. If she has ADHD, and it is so severe that anything upsets her, she should not be left alone. If the father tries to sue, it is an obvious money grab.
Joe Joseph
What IF the person knew and demanded their rights because there's absolutely no reason to assist in a cop's investigation of them? YES, it's money grab. Welcome to the world, kiddo.
Your Welcome
Joe you’re a worthless piece of $hit!
If you’ve done nothing wrong simply obey the officer’s commands and move on.
This was 3 minutes of this medicated individual’s life, thanks to our pill popping liberal medical system!
I’m sick and tired of people like you blaming the individuals that continue to put their lives on the line to protect ours, for a simple action that we should be teaching our children!
I can almost guarantee you that this girl isn’t innocent by No means which created her reaction! Daddy’s been claiming her innocence from day one and never held her accountable!
Bob Lablaw
IF they did that, that is one thing. BUT, she was not under arrest, so they DID NOT have to remind her of her rights.
