The Curios Case of Onokamu

Introduction
After the 2014 attacks that introduced the kaiju to the world, Dr. Serizawa gained interest in a kaiju allegedly alike to Godzilla, but the with the features of mythical dragons from old tales. Looking back on old files and tales, we have found interesting documentation on a kaiju named Onokamu.
Kaiju Overview
A kaiju documented in even the oldest scripts, Onokamu is a name praised by generations of humans and creatures alike. This kaiju is one regarded as withdrawed from opinion, yet is drawn to one kaiju alike in its mission.
Kaiju History
Onokamu, from what Monarch has currently uncovered, had first been recorded in Egyptian hieroglyphics. Her image was painted as an immense black dragon with hints of a bright glowing green among her scales. She was shown emerging from a ball of smoke and fire, and flying to the skies to battle the three-headed golden dragon we call Ghidorah.
Our next finding was a part of the Ge'ez script that speaks of Onokamu's first known interaction with Titanus Mosura, or Mothra. It describes the dragon titan descending upon a fight between Titanus Gojira, or Godzilla, and protecting the moth kaiju from the other titan. It was also described in this writing how the two met up once again a hundred years later to fight Titanus Battra, or Battra, and worked together instead of just one.
Very early cuneiform also describes the appearance and behavior of Onokamu, often threatening towards other kaiju, but seemingly soft with Mothra. This behavior was seen as a form of deep respect by the ancient civilizations, but later records and Monarch staff express different, more sensual beliefs that the two may have shared.
She is also found in the early Chinese characters of the Late Shang period, located along the North Border of China in the Tianchi volcano. She is recorded as the suspected cause of multiple devastating eruptions of the volcano.
The Greeks have recorded Onokamu as the 'Defender of Life', a kaiju protecting humans and animals along the continent of Asia. They have also written many accounts of Onokamu stopping major fights between kaiju, and some of the strongest accounts of her attachment to Mothra.
All other concurrents writings share the same stories, but an old story of the 1800's English tells a tale about Onokamu having ties to the golden three-headed monster she once defeated, Ghidorah.
12 - 3 - 19 Update: After recent events, we have come to the conclusion to update this file by the wish of Dr. Serizawa. Onokamu was accredited awakening in the Changbai Mountains at the call of Titanus Mosura. She was next seen travelling over the Atlantic Ocean faster than a jet, and landing in Isla De Mara, Mexico. She arrived on the scene as Rodan awakened and seemed to help him take down military jets, but seemed to flee at the arrival of Ghidorah. She came back to help Godzilla fight him, but disappeared onto the water after the strike of the Oxygen Destroyer.
She was next seen at Mothra's emerging from her cocoon, first seen as a threat. When Mothra emerged from her cocoon and the two rubbed heads like the male and female MUTOs from 2014, Monarch realized this was Onokamu, and the two still held 'respect' strongly for eachother. Titanus Mosura and Titanus Onokamu then fled into the fog, headed for Boston.
The two landed in Boston as the fight between Godzilla and Ghidorah began. The two fought bravely, but Mothra was ultimately brought down by Ghidorah. She spread her life force to Godzilla and Onokamu, allowing the two to combine their powers and defeat Ghidorah.
Onokamu has currently been tracked to a spot in the Hollow Earth where a lying Mothra awaits rebirth. Monarch believes she is guarding the titan until she awakens again, protecting the vulnerable kaiju along with strange people with impending research by Monarch.
Physical Description
From what we can muster off of surviving records, Onokamu's main status of appearance is her dragon-like form. Nearly ebony black scales line her form, and hints of a glowing green line their rows.
She is also shown to be even taller than Ghidorah, standing at a staggering 650 feet or 198.12 meters. Her wingspan is recorded to be shorter than his though, only reaching 798 feet instead of 800, but a very slim difference. Her current weight is unknown, but Monarch researchers say it is likely more than Ghidorah.
She has been noted with one strange feature after her appearance in the attacks of 2019. A small straggle of white fluff is wrapped around her tail in pink lace. Monarch researchers believe this is a gift from Mothra's suspected protectors, the Shobijin, in thanks for past help from Onokamu. This is believed to be a very old piece, dating back years before the first titan sightings of the second World War.
Enviornment/Frequented Habitats
Onokamu's home, or base, is in the Tianchi Volcano. This lies along the Northern Border of China, where currently 100,000 people settle. In an odd but amazing discovery, when Onokamu arose, nobody was injured or killed. Instead, the people of the mountain came outside and parked as the dragon emerged. Onokamu seemed to bow her head to the people in what we determined a sign of mutual respect, and gently took off without destroying a single thing of the people's.
People of the Yunnan Province also speak of sightings told by their early ancestors of Onokamu and Mothra meeting on friendly terms. The kaiju would stay for weeks at a time, often looking over the larvae stage of Mothra.
Abilities
Onokamu is capable of flight despite her tremendous size. Her current flight speed is unknown, but is stated to be at supersonic speeds. She is also able to destroy jets, machinery, and even building with a smack of her wings. She was seen to be able to converge in a barrel roll with Rodan to destroy multiple jets. She has also used them to buffet Ghidorah away from Godzilla on multiple occasions, and has used them to sweep Godzilla up in waves to Boston.
Onokamu has thick, heavy claws used to grab, throw, claw, or tear at kaiju. She can take Ghidorah himself nearly 10,000 feet into the air and drop him. Monarch researchers suggest she may be able to do this because of relations to Ghidorah.
She can also fire a green atomic beam like Godzilla, suggesting he may have what Monarch calls Zillian Blood. Onokamu is theorized to be the first known recorded hybrid kaiju, or kaiju with mixed blood. The cause or reason of this is currently unknown, but some speculate it was to create a stronger species to dominate the Earth.
Onokamu has a strong defense in terms of body. Her thick scales can reflect attacks and fire them back even stronger, while also absorbing some of their power. This power radiates into her atomic beam, which is considerably thicker than Godzilla's, and has a trace of electricity.
Onokamu also has a mighty roar which, when bellowed at specific frequencies, summon different kaiju. The only kaiju Monarch has seen are Rodan, Mothra, Manda, and Baragon. There is also records of this roar summoning Godzilla to fight Ghidorah in an ancient battle, but has yet to be documented past that point.
Onokamu can also temporarily gain a power boost by biting into another kaiju and draining their power. This power that builds up into her atomic blast can effectively obliterate a kaiju, but is hard to do so still, and Onokamu must rest in the Tianchi Volcano after or risk death.
Origin Theories
Like Ghidorah, Onokamu originally arrived by space. Astronauts suggest she may have come from a humongous crater of the East side of the planet. She may have also come from out of this solar system, but those claims are not very accredited.
No records state how Onokamu ended up in the Tianchi Volcano, but only a story passed by word of mouth from the people of the volcano. The story goes that a black dragon fell from the sky and landed at the base of the volcano. The people, who believed this dragon to be a god defeated in battle and cast from the skies, took it to the volcano and submerged it in the lava. There, the dragon healed until a red and gold two-headed dragon the people call Huracan descended from the skies and began to destroy the village. Suddenly, the black dragon arose from the volcano, and after biting into the dragon and sucking its power, the black dragon obliterated Huracan with one atomic blast. The people celebrated and worshipped the black dragon, naming her Onokamu after a local legend.
Connection With Mothra
Possibly the most interesting feature of this kaiju, Onokamu seems to have a connection with Mothra stronger than a symbiotic relationship. Monarch research has recently come to the conclusion that, like with nearly all creatures in the animal kingdom, the two have taken eachother as mates.
This was believed to have began in one of the earlier Chinese dynasties. Like described earlier, Onokamu swiped in to save Mothra, and ended up forming a symbiotic relationship. After their defeat of Battra a hundred years later, the two are most likely to have become mates by then.
A specimen found off the coast of Isla De Mara named Mothra Leo seems to be the perfect evidence for this relationship. A mothra with scaled black skin under the white fluff, green eyes, long pointed wings, and green hints along his body, this seems to be a hybrid kaiju made from the DNA of Onokamu and Mothra. Studies suggest this species was artificially created by scientists in the 1930's to see what a mix of the two look like. Mothra Leo was spotted in the area with Mothra at Castle Bravo, helping send the signal to awaken Godzilla. Mothra Leo was then spotted above Boston observing the battle and carrying away some of Mothra's ashes after Godzilla and Onokamu's victory. He has not been spotted since that point, but has been tracked to the same place as Onokamu and Mothra currently.
As of now, Onokamu is in soliditary position, but will be tracked for further movements in the future. Monarch has shown special interest in this particular kaiju and will be documenting further developments with haste. Monarch also has the guise to track Onokamu and Mothra's relationship as future events follow 2019's attacks.
